For Charquala Davis applying lashes is more than just a trend, it's a way of life.  "To have a woman tell me that her lash application looks natural, makes me feel like I've done what I have set out to do," she says.  Born and raised in Louisville, KY, 'Quala', as many of her family and friends, and now clients know her, grew up watching her older sister apply makeup to herself.  She knew that she one day wanted to perfect makeup so that she could do it as a living.  Today, not only has Quala perfected makeup, but she has also received her esthetics license while attending the International School of Skin & Nails in Atlanta, GA. It was in school that a fellow classmate showed Quala a style of applying individual lashes that would change her life.  "I just wanted to look nice for church on Sundays, you know, have a little, umph!," she giggles.  Quala holds privacy at the utmost importance so she does not disclose the names of her celebrity clientele.  "Back in the day, women didn't talk about the things that made them appealing.  You would think they were just born with those lashes, that hair.  All you needed was the right illusionist," Quala states, smiling.  And that, she has become.
