Today is a sad day for me, Lavish ladies, as I'm sure is a sad day for alot of you. Last night we found out that Whitney Houston died at the age of 48. Whitney Houston was my "Beyonce" before Beyonce! Her voice was so pure and her songs were timeless. It's crazy how nowadays, alot of songs are so blatant with sex that if God forbid, some of these young ladies were to pass, it would be really hard to play the songs on gospel stations! Whitney had songs for all stations. I remember being 9 years old and hearing "Miracle" and falling in love with that song. Tonight is the Grammy Awards and LL Cool J is the host. The night is sure to be interesting. J. Hud is doing a tribute as well. Wow...well, live life, love always and when you're wrong APOLOGIZE!

Here we are, the last month of the year! I am very excited! Summer brings out LASHES!

Well HELLO!!! I've been so busy and am sorry for not writing for almost 2 months, but things are kinda calm for a second. I decided to go ahead and write to ya! I'm getting introduced to new forms of lashes as well as attempting to perfect the "permanent lash technique". The summer, however, brings out the lashes! Women want to look intriguing and full lashes is the way. Thanks to celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria and Kelly Rowland, lashes are huge right now! I have met alot of new clients and when I hear about some of their experiences...it breaks my heart! All "professionals" aren't what they claim to be. Any time a "professional" is using HAIR GLUE, that's an indicator that maybe they are not as professional as they claim. Also, NAIL GLUE is not acceptable. (I know, I know, I'm just telling you what I've heard...) As I have to type this out I'm shaking my head because as unbelievable as it is, it definitely happens. I want all you fabulash ladies to wear lashes with out hesitation and discomfort and unfortunately one apple will spoil the bunch. Have fun this summer and enjoy your lashes, bat them, speak with them, cause others to be envious of them! Lash you soon...

April showers bring May flowers!

And so the old adage goes! This month has completely covered us with showers! I remember a couple of years ago, here in Atlanta, we couldn't get rain to save our life. We had pastors praying for rain, we were trying to make rain, and trying to conserve our water! Now, we can't get enough! I think it's amazing. I was told once that rain signifies growth and who doesn't need a little growth? As I sit here and write about growth, I can't help but think about how my business has grown. I am now doing lashes and brows at Bella Vivo Salon on Fridays and Saturdays, and my clientele continues to flourish. I am extremely humbled and am excited for the future. As April 2011 is fading away I am reminded by that old adage and it only makes me curious to ask, what do May flowers bring? Lash you soon...

A new season is ahead!

Hey Lavish Ladies! We are now well into February and Valentine's Day has come and gone (aw, shucks!) and NOW the fun is REALLY going to start! The weather here lately is really starting to warm up and I, like so many other Atlantans am extremely excited!! This is the first time in a long time that I think the groundhog has been correct about us having an early spring!

That brings me to my next subject: WAXING! Lavish...by C. Davis does so much more than lashes, I also do waxing! But no bikini or brazilians:( So many of us still shave and there's nothing wrong with shaving...if you like nicks and cuts...and having to waste your mornings spending time doing it...every 1-3 days...and only feeling the smoothness for like, a day, then it feels blunt again...but for something that last for up to a month, you should DEFINETELY GET WAXED!!! And, the sooner you begin getting waxed, the sooner your hairs are going to get accustomed to that and will stop coming back. Also, when you get waxed, the hairs that DO return are very fine and light in weight.

I love waxing, its so feminine and I don't have to worry about hairs for at least a month, which means more time to do what I WANT TO DO in the mornings! Lavish...by C. 2011...EVERYTHING NEXT LEVEL...

Hello Lavish Ladies!!! I have been locked up in my house AGAINST MY WILL due to this horrible ice on the roads!! But today is a brand new day ladies, A BRAND NEW DAY! I'm so excited to once again be out and about and ready to lash up all of my deserving clients. While I was in doors, I did take the time out to come up with some fabulous new specials for the spring and summer time (yah!) as well as, I decided to do a new vision board. Ya'll, I am so stoked for this vision board. On it, I've placed new celeb clients I would love to have as well as just the direction in which I am aiming for Lavish to go in this year. Like the title to this blog stats, Everything next level. That doesn't just apply to Lavish...by C. Davis. That applies to my personal and spiritual life as well. This year I will be 30 and in those 30 years I can say that I haven't really understood the power that that statement has. Until now!! If you've only had the semi-permanent lashes, now may be the time to try single lashes. If you've only had single lashes, now may be the time to try permanent! If you only go to church on Sundays, hey, maybe you should try going to your bible study! All I'm saying is, I'm glad that I have finally grasped that concept and am not afraid of going to the next level. Happy New Year, ladies, and remember: EVERYTHING NEXT LEVEL!!!

Hello Lavish Ladies! So here we are again, at the end of the year celebrating with family and being able to be surrounded by people who love us. Its a wonderful feeling! It's the most wonderful time of the year! LOL! I want to take this time to thank each and everyone of you Lavish Ladies for your continued patronism, your advice and your words of wisdom. As I am caused to reflect upon my year I am very pleased. I have been very blessed in my business and personal endeavors. I am looking forward to the new year and what all it holds. Hello, my lovely, lavish ladies! So, here we are in October and it is officially fall. I love it, it's definetly one of my fav seasons (next to summer!). It's also Breast Cancer Awareness month too. I was thinking, 'what can Lavish...by C. Davis do to help out or even get people in the mindset of thinking about breast cancer?' And it came to me: Offer a lash special!! Fall 2010: All about the LASHES!

Hello, Lavish Ladies!! This summer has been unbelievable! I want to thank all my clients for all of your referrals and I also want to thank some of my oldie, but goody clients for remembering me when they needed lashes for those specials moments;) August 1, I celebrated my one year anniversary! God has been good to me and so have all of you and I just want to send a big thank you out to everyone who has let me grace your home and come and adorn your eyes with lashes. Now here comes fall, one of my favorite seasons (along with summer!) and I like the fact that its not too hot, but not too cold. It gives us ladies a chance to strut our stuff and wear extremely fly outfits and have our eyes be the center of all that is good! Speaking of, I have most recently began doing the Lavish Lashes Permanent Lashes!! I am so stoked becasue these lashes are magnicent. They can last up to 6 (six) weeks, depending on your own lash.
